Statistical development of chinese outbound tourists

I added today a historical statistic from 1991 till 2002 about the chinese outbound tourists in the fact section. Three year ago it was very difficult to gather this data from the different available sources.

Today still it is not so easy to get historical statistics, therefor I hope this table will be useful for you.

Trinidad and Tobago gets Approved Destination Status

Trinidad and Tobago has signed a memorandum of understanding with China. In exchange the Chinese government has granted Approved Destination Status to Trinidad and Tobago. The contracts have been signed in the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) offices in Beijing by the deputy general director Gu Zahoxi (CNTA) and Kenneth Valley (Minister of Trade and Industry).

I added a short review of the History of the Chinese Outbound Tourism under the fact category. If you want to add something or you disagree with my point of view I would be happy to know your opinion.

In my opinion it all started 1983 when the Chinese Government allowed the Chinese people to participate in organised journeys to Hong Kong for Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR).
